When you think of it, moving is all about the right boxes. If you use boxes of the wrong size, shape, and material, you could have a pretty bad experience. The ultimate box guide is one you need to learn before moving anything! Whether that's a house, an office, or even a single bathroom.

Why make something even more stressful than it already is when you can make it into something enjoyable? It is also critical to realize the physical labor involved with moving. And it could be much smoother if you chose the correct equipment.

It makes sense to go about the book! But how do you know what box is used for what things? Well, don’t worry about it. This article will guide you in making the best out of your move!

The guide to moving boxes

Large Boxes

Let’s start with the large boxes. Big boxes are excellent for packing fragile things such as large pots, vases, or other decorative pieces. Ideally, you should always wrap these pieces in bubble wrap before placing them into any box.

But once you’ve done that, choosing a larger box is a great option since it gives the fragile pieces more security.

Large boxes are also great if you want to fit a whole bunch of lightweight items such as toys, kitchen utensils, and plastic pots.

Just be sure to avoid overfilling these large boxes. It can get tricky because of their size, but you want to make sure the boxes are easy to lift

Medium Boxes

Medium boxes are the best option for fitting in something with weight. This is because the box isn’t super heavy on its own, making it easier to handle the weight!

Things like books, games, and photo albums are perfect to place in medium-sized boxes. You are still going to have to pick up these boxes manually, so weight matters. Make sure when you pack stuff into them, you divide the weight evenly.

Don’t fill one side of the box heavier than the other or vice versa. Keep it light and even.

Small Boxes

Last but not least, small boxes. Although these boxes will be small in size, make sure they’re sturdy enough to not fall apart with the slightest weight.

Once you’ve checked that out, you can begin adding to it. Just like the size of the box, you can start adding things that are also small and lightweight; stuff as your toothbrushes and cosmetics.

If you have other small pieces and don’t know where to pack them, a small box is great. Small things can get lost easily, especially during a moving process. Things like candles, some electronics, medicines, and jewelry should usually end up in small boxes.

Boxes that are this compact will always come in handy when packing such things! Plus, you can fill them up to your heart’s desire. They will never be too heavy. But, remember to stack these boxes in medium or large boxes. This is because handling these individuals can be hard.
